Movie Trivia
I love December. Not just because it's my birthday month, or because it's Christmas time and the streets are filled with holiday lights and people smiling. Nope, I also love December because the off season ends and training for next season begins, the team starts making plans for training camps and traveling, and the excitement about racing starts to build again. Unfortunately here in the Northern Hemisphere that excitement is accompanied by shorter days with less sunlight, colder weather, and more time on the trainer. Sort of ironic. Thank goodness for the advent of digital video recorder allowing me to watch any TV show I want at the touch of a button (worth every penny of that monthly bill) and the free one-month trial of Blockbuster movies delivered directly to my mailbox. Three weeks on the rollers and I'm still thoroughly entertained. Tonight I watched one of my all-time favorites, and got a little advice for the upcoming season...
It's a race! A race! You have to pace yourself. Carbohydrate is important. Pasta is good. Breathing is important.
Can anyone identify the movie? Here's a hint...It's the same movie that brought us the Barbie Klaus, and the term "prairie-dogging", and concludes with a live concert in the same N.M. city where one of the toughest US stage races is held every year.
