Life Outside of Racing...

It's easy, especially during the heat of race season, to get caught up in the pattern of sleep-eat-race-sleep-eat-race. It's good to have some friends who will pull you away from the race scene insanity for a weekend of a different kind of craziness. So this weekend was full crazy-time with a friend's bachlorette party complete with camping and white water rafting through the Royal Gorge, two hours south of Denver.

Billie started off her party in appropriate bachlorette style, showing off her new lingerie.

Southern Belle Rae-Rae brought the party to life with a couple of cowgirl hats to officially kick off the festivities.

And what party isn't complete without an attempt to steal a go-cart from the campground?

The morning after: catching a quick nap before rallying for a 3-hour rafting adventure. I'm happy to announce that the lack of sleep & copious amounts of alcohol did not impair our coordination or balance, and none of the bachlorette party girls fell overboard.
