Summer Wind-down
Chris and I are holding on to the last few warm days of Summer and have had some pretty fun adventures:
Mountain bike racing:
Dinner in a yurt at 10,000 feet:
Secret post-season altitude training at 12,000 feet:
A few days in Durango, a few days of living it up western-style on a horse ranch. Here's our new buddies Larry, Curly, and Mo:
And you can't go to Durango without hitting some of the town's 2,000 miles of single track. Can't beat sweet trails that start 6 blocks from Main St. No pictures of the ride though, as the camera decided to take a tumble out of the camelback somewhere in Horsetooth Gulch. Slippery little fellow.
Road season ended. Cross season starting, and I'm jumping on board this year with my new buddy Oscar:
Tomorrow Chris heads back to kangaroo land for a few months. He hasn't seen winter in two years...not a bad life he's leading. Not bad at all. Safe travels Skinny Winny. See u soon.
