Phoenix recap:
I spent Sunday and Monday night in Phoenix, and it was the most relaxing part of my trip yet. I pretty much did nothing for the day and a half I was there, and it was great! We went to the movies, ate some really good food, and swam in the pool. All other times I was lying on the couch watching TV.
I did manage to get off the couch Monday afternoon to have lunch with Claude Jackson. Then it was right back onto the couch for the rest of the day!
Tuesday Bobby and I went for a ride with his crew. They ride every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30. That's 5:30 AM. In the morning. In Phoenix, if you want to ride your bike in August you have to get up early and be back before 7:30, otherwise you'll roast. Bobby told me it was going to be a "social" ride, as in slow and easy. Well, that was definitely not the case. For some reason the guys decided to ride fast, and we completed their 1 hour 30 minute loop in 1 hour and 17 minutes. Bobby said it was the fastest they've ever ridden. He also said they were probably trying to make the girl suffer. Thanks guys!
